The product
We are using genuine Italian “Pueblo” leather from the Badalassi Carlo manufacture located in Tuscany, one of only 22 small companies belonging to the Vera Pelle association. The producers are creating only vegetable-tanned leather, using natural ingredients and traditional methods dating back to the 8th century, according to the traditional recipe of Italian oiled vachetta. Each leather is handcrafted, finished in a rustic style using a special machine.
We are sewing our straps with the Vinymo MBT thread made in Japan. It’s specially crafted core guarantees longevity and durability.
The print
Every strap is printed with a special eco-friendly sublimation ink that has been certified “ECO PASSPORT” by the international OEKO-TEX® association.
Sustainability
Leather used by Lowlander is acquired only from scrap material gained during meat processing – no animal was killed solely for the purpose of obtaining leather. According to the directives from Vera Pelle association, the manufacturer is obliged to use rational amount of water in the process of tanning the leather. Those features of the skin used for our leather guitar straps are guaranteed by a numbered certificate.
